We used to have our own antiques & collectibles business way back about 13 years ago and stopped when our full time jobs became too much to keep up with the buying and selling we did. We ran it out of a booth in an antiques mall. A great way to sell, but more on that in another post.
With Joanne's considerable amount of auctioneering and our mutual fascination with Junk we don't need, (although I do try to jam every bit I can into our house and make every effort to put it to use) but find highly interesting, aesthetically pleasing and just plain fun, we find things we like and buy them.
In the last year or so, we've been discussing; quite seriously I might add, about starting up our business once again. We seem to never become bored by what we find and really enjoy the search for the next best thing, be it found at a yard sale, thrift store, online, a live auction or perhaps, in the trash! Ok, we're not proud...we're trash pickers! Wherever we find the Junk, we'll go for it!
